Diane G. Brown
Diane Brown is as a strategic, results-oriented, senior human resource professional with solid experience in fast-paced, high-tech environments. She has proven ability to implement creative solutions in all areas of HR functions including: recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, employee relations, HRIS, training, stock administration, right-sizing, and mergers/acquisitions. Diane served as a successful business partner in supporting company needs from start-up to large, public organizations. Her experience includes experience dealing with Board of Directors, Compensation Committees, IRS, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
For over ten years, she served as Director of HR with Soapstone Networks Inc., previously known as Avici Systems Inc. She established the initial services as the sole practitioner building an HR organization to support a large international organization. During her tenure she directed and balanced HR solutions to meet corporations strategic business needs including start-up business processes, IPO and employee stock offerings, restructuring from a hardware business to a software business and merger and acquisition activities.
She has prior experience with biotech and semiconductor industries as well as successful IPO and merger offerings with Apollo Computer, Hewlett Packard and Integrated Solutions. In addition, she has managed office services and facilities activities including a recent build-out of a 60K square foot office/laboratory facility.
She is an active member in associations and forums including the HRDG Group, Society of HR Management (SHRM), New England HR Association (NEHRA), Equity Edge Stock Plan Administers, ADP Users Forum and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP).
